Vom 1.10.2004 bis 31.12.2005 angestellt als Mitarbeiterin für das Projekt „FoCol - Ameisentypen in deutschen Sammlungen“.

Vom 1.2.2006 bis 29.2.2008 wissenschaftliche Volontärin. Das Projekt „FoCol“ wird weiter bearbeitet.

Forschungsschwerpunkte: pilzzüchtende Ameisen, speziell Systematik, Sozioevolution und phylogenetische Zusammenhänge innerhalb der Gruppe. Im weiteren Entwicklung der Kolonien von Blattschneider-Ameisen.
