Hitze-frei im Naturkundemuseum Karlsruhe: Freier Eintritt vom 25.-28.6.2026
Angesichts der extremen Temperaturen ist von Donnerstag, 25.6. bis Sonntag, 28.6.2026 der Eintritt in die klimatisierten Ausstellungsbereiche für alle frei (Sonderausstellung „Versammelt“ im Obergeschoss sowie der Vivariumsbereich mit den Dauerausstellungen „Klima und Lebensräume“ sowie „Form und Funktion – Vorbild Natur").
Das Museumscafé mit gekühlten Getränken ist natürlich auch geöffnet!
Die nicht klimatisierten Ausstellungssäle im Ostflügel des Hauses (Geowissenschaftliche Ausstelllungen, „Welt der Insekten“, „Afrikanische Lebensräume“, „Heimische Natur“ und „Evolution des Menschen“) bleiben aufgrund der hohen Temperaturen geschlossen.

Accessibility
The museum is fully wheelchair accessible. A lift is available for access to all exhibitions.
Wheelchair-accessible toilets and baby-changing facilities are situated on the ground floor.
Taking photographs and filming
You may only take photographs or film for non-commercial purposes (no flashes permitted when photographing aquariums and terrariums). Filming or photographing museum staff is not permitted. You must obtain permission in advance for the use of tripods. Commercial use of photographic material of any kind is subject to written permission.

• Please show consideration for other visitors and respect any instructions given by our staff.
• Please do not act in any way which might damage or endanger exhibits ordisplay facilities.
• Large bags, rucksacks and other bulky items must be left in the lockers provided.
• Dogs are not permitted in the museum (excepting assistance dogs).
• Smoking is not permitted in the museum.
• Refreshments can be purchased in the café located in the museum shop. For those of our visitors who wish to bring their own food and drink we have provided tables and chairs opposite the musumssshop.
• Children must not be left unattended anywhere in the museum.
