Research interests
- Osteohistology: analysis of bone microstructure to reconstruct ontogeny and growth patterns
- Non-destructive imaging methods, especially the use of μCT to analyze internal bone structures such as trabecular bone or pneumatization
- Functional morphology of vertebrates, particularly giant flightless birds from the Paleogene and Neogene
