In preparation: Palaeoecology of the Rupelian Sea

We plan to establish a long-term research project in the clay pit Unterfeld together with Dr. Norbert Micklich (Hesse State Darmstadt), Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Stinnesbeck (Exzellency University Heidelberg) and Dr. Gerald Mayr (Research Institute Senckenberg Frankfurt) with the aim to reconstruct the palaeoecology of the coastal Rupelian Sea and its hinterland and erect a Pan-European network on that project.
